Baden-Württemberg is a federal state in the southwest of Germany, bordering France and Switzerland. The mountainous south-west is home to the evergreen Black Forest with its traditional villages. The state capital Stuttgart is home to Wilhelma, a royal estate that is now a zoological and botanical garden. Porsche and Mercedes-Benz have their headquarters and museums in Stuttgart. Hohenzollern Castle, built in the 19th century, is located in the Swabian Alb in the south of the state.

Folk festivals in Baden-Württemberg
The Cannstatter Volksfest - also known as Wasen - is the largest folk festival in Baden-Württemberg. It is a 17-day folk festival on the Cannstater Wasen in Neckarpark in Stuttgart's Bad Cannstatt district. It has been held annually from the end of September to the beginning of October since 1818. In addition to many rides and attractions (for children and adults), there is also a market sale and a variety of snack bars and beer gardens to enjoy. There is also a large food court on the grounds and lots of sweets and confectionery.
Amusement Park
The most visited theme park in Germany is located near Rust on the German-French border. The Europa-Park. It is regularly voted the best theme park in the world by the US magazine Amusement Today. Most recently in 2022 (source: Europa-Park). The park is divided into various themed areas, based on its namesake continent of Europe. There are 20 in total with various rides and attractions with matching gastronomy of the respective themed area such as Greece, Italy, Portugal or Russia and many more. If you are in Baden-Württemberg, then you should definitely visit Europa-Park, also with overnight stay.
